Dwarf's story of decreasing sedentarism


The collaboration between Pleaz and DWARF

Dwarf has been a part of the Pleaz family since August 2020. Doing Pleazers at Dwarf has always been a social thing, creating an informal work environment by gathering people across departments. Despite being a smaller team than most of our clients, Dwarf leads by showing that even smaller companies benefit from prioritizing and investing in their employee’s health.

Dwarf believes that having strong internal relations both improves our well-being and performance. Pleaz helps us achieve this through their easy platform with fun healthy breaks.

 

Just as everyone else, Dwarf struggled with keeping their employees active while working from home during the second COVID-19 lockdown in the winter months. As active breaks were previously only associated with being social in the office, Pleazers became a new addition to the workday during the lockdown reality.

After Dwarf returned to the office in March 2021, Pleazers were a way to start the day together. All employees gathered at least twice a week, and while having fun and laughs they were strengthening the new habit of active physical and mental breaks.

At Dwarf, the main focus is on the functional exercises to decrease risk of office injuries. However, this does not stop them from an occasional dance around the chair on a Friday. Socializing and health combined!
